I grew up in Northeast PA and am so thankful to see independent locally-owned bookstores like Apport. The selection is thoughtful and reflective of a proprietor who clearly has a love for both the written word and the beauty of books themselves. You will find major publishers, small presses, and self-publishing represented here. I go for poetry and politics and nature books. Love this shop!

Charming book store with a friendly owner and I was told they can even offer free shipping. Like many used book stores there's a general order to things but the treasures are in the hunting. There's a decent "conspiracies" section featuring David Ray Griffin and those kinds of authors. Worth stopping by just to browse.

Phenomenal selection - it's a small shop, but you could spend a lot of time browsing and discovering books you didn't know you need in your life (or ones that you might need a second, cooler copy of).

very cool place, take the time to peruse and you'll find something cool. I found Infinity Pawn: a collection of sci-fi short stories about chess, my favorite hobby, for less than $5. An incredible find for me and I'm excited to go back and see what else is there.

One of the hauntingly best bookstores I’ve ever found. The collection is indeed curated with several good and unusual finds for a used bookstore. Credit where credit is due.

Legendary experience. I will be returning regularly. Was so excited to visit this place and I was not disappointed one bit. Best place to shop for books, art, ephemera, etc in the Valley. Even some records there too! How cool.

Went here for the first time today and it is now my favorite bookstore. It’s full of esoteric, occult, rare, strange, radical, mysterious, mystical, and very curious books—my favorite kinds. This bookstore is a gem. It’s a bastion of wonder. Check it out.

I stumbled across this bookstore on Instagram and it slowly became apparent to me I could not die peacefully without stepping foot in this bookstore. I crossed several state lines to visit Apport Used Books and let me tell you it’s worth the trip. The shop owners curation is awesome and I left with a stack of beautiful and unique vintage / used books with cool cover designs in great condition. Also got a sweet bookmark, and handmade ceramic mug that has become the elite in my coffee rotation. Feels worth mentioning his rare book collection is notably sick. The shop interior itself is spacious, bright, warm, and nicely decorated. I’m ready to die baby.

awesome place!! dude there was so incredibly kind and welcoming. they had a great assortment of not only books but also old photographs and such. amazing place and i’ll definitely be back!!!
